Spring 2017 Class Schedule

All classes begin at 10am and are located at the nursery unless indicated otherwise. Space is limited so please be sure to register.

A minimum of 8 attendees is needed for a class, otherwise the class may be canceled.

Saturday morning gardening classes at Shooting Star Nursery in Central Point, Oregon includes coffee, snacks, and sandbox to entertain the kids

~During classes there will also be a sandbox for the kids, coffee and refreshments (children are still under parents' supervision).

If you are like us, you may find your bookshelves a little heavy on garden books. Most of them have been useful and we want them to be useful and inspiring to someone else! Please join us for some morning treats and coffee and a gathering of plant nerds and all their favorite books. You can come show off some of your favorites or bring some that you want to trade.   We would like to visit after a long winter!

Fruit trees are a fun and useful addition to any yard and we will show you how to train them for a small space and how to prune different types of fruit trees. This is bare root fruit tree season and we will show you how to get them off to a good start. Bring your warm clothes and gloves for this outside demonstration class. We’ll have coffee ready for you!
